Money Forward, Inc. has entered into a basic agreement with Sumitomo Mitsui Card Company to establish a joint venture, aiming to enhance personal financial management (PFM) services by integrating their Money Forward ME app with SMCC’s comprehensive financial services. This strategic collaboration is expected to yield an extraordinary income of approximately 14 billion yen for Money Forward, Inc. and create a customer-centric open financial platform leveraging both companies’ strengths.
