Mohawk Industries has announced the appointment of Mauro Vandini as President of its Global Ceramic Segment, effective from September 15, 2024. Vandini, who has been instrumental in the growth of Mohawk’s European ceramic business post-Marazzi acquisition, will take over from Christopher Wellborn. Wellborn will retain his role as Mohawk’s President and COO, aiding Vandini in the transition. The company, a global leader in flooring with brands known for innovation and quality, continues to strengthen its market position as the largest ceramic tile manufacturer in the world.
