Mitsui & Co (JP:8031) has released an update.
Mitsui & Co., Ltd. has expanded its portfolio by acquiring Taylor & Martin, a US truck auction company, through its subsidiary MBK USA Auction in April 2024. The acquisition led to a capital increase in MBK USA Auction, making it a specified subsidiary as its capital reached more than 10% of Mitsui’s. This strategic move aligns with Mitsui’s forecasts, and is expected to have no additional impact on future financial projections.
