MidCap Financial Investment Corporation (MFIC) has provided an announcement.
On July 22, 2024, MidCap Financial Investment Corporation finalized its acquisition of both Apollo Senior Floating Rate Fund Inc. and Apollo Tactical Income Fund Inc., with shareholders of the latter two receiving 0.9547 and 0.9441 shares of MidCap stock respectively for each share held. Consequently, MidCap issued approximately 14.9 million and 13.7 million new shares to the former stockholders of the acquired companies. Additionally, MidCap declared a special distribution of $0.20 per share, payable to stockholders on record by August 5, 2024, with distribution expected around August 15, 2024.
