Mexicana de Aviación Modernizes Fleet with Embraer Jets

Embraer SA (ERJ) has released an update.

Mexicana de Aviación has announced a purchase of 20 new Embraer E2 jets, split evenly between the E190-E2 and E195-E2 models, with deliveries starting in the second quarter of 2025. This marks the first time the E2 model will operate in Mexico, promising enhanced efficiency and sustainability for the country’s state-owned airline. Mexicana aims to expand and modernize its fleet through this deal, improving domestic and international connectivity with a commitment to high safety and service standards.
