Metallica Minerals Limited (MLM) has issued a strong recommendation for its shareholders to reject the takeover bid by Diatreme Resources Limited (DRX), which has become unconditional and is set to close shortly. DRX currently holds a substantial 58.20% voting power in MLM. MLM’s directors, who are also shareholders, are united in their stance against the offer, signaling their intent to not tender their own shares.
