Medtronic Reorganizes Units and Executives Depart

Medtronic (MDT) has released an update.

In a strategic shift announced on February 20, 2024, a company is exiting the ventilator business and merging its Patient Monitoring and Respiratory Interventions units into one. This reorganization eliminates the role of Executive Vice President and President of the Medical Surgical Portfolio, leading to Robert J. White’s departure on April 26, 2024. White’s exit is categorized as a termination without cause, entitling him to severance pay and benefits as per the company’s standard executive severance policy.
