Macquarie Telecom Group Limited (AU:MAQ) has released an update.
Macquarie Technology Group Limited is set to acquire the Intellicentre 2 and Intellicentre 3 East from Keppel DC REIT for $174 million, with the aim of bolstering its position in the growing cloud and AI markets. To finance the purchase, the Group plans to raise $100 million through a two-tranche placement at a discount, complemented by a $90 million data centre loan note. Additionally, the company has maintained its positive financial outlook, reiterating its EBITDA guidance for FY24, which marks a decade of consistent growth.
