Lundin Gold (TSE:LUG) has released an update.
Lundin Gold Inc. has achieved a debt-free status by paying off the first installment of its stream credit facility and offtake agreement with Newmont Corporation for the Fruta del Norte gold mine in Ecuador. The company, known for operating one of the world’s highest-grade gold mines, is on track to pay the final tranche by the third quarter of 2024, marking the completion of its project financing package for the mine’s development.
