Ltd. has announced the discovery of a significant 176 carat Type IIa diamond at its Lulo Alluvial Mine in Angola, marking the fifth diamond over 100 carats found this year and the 45th since 2015. This find supports the potential of the mining area and contributes to Lucapa’s revenue and ongoing efforts to locate the primary source of these large diamonds through its kimberlite exploration program. The company’s portfolio, including operations in Angola and Lesotho and interests in Australian exploration, continues to yield high-value diamonds, positioning Lucapa favorably in the global diamond market.
