Ltd. is on the brink of increasing its stake in the Lulo Kimberlite Exploration Joint-Venture to 51%, a significant rise from its current 39% share, pending the outcome of a committee’s review in Angola. The committee’s verification of the Minerals Investment Contract is expected to conclude within 90 days, after which a report will be submitted to the Angolan Minister of Mineral Resources. This development underscores Lucapa’s strategic expansion in diamond mining, with high-value diamonds from its African mines commanding premium global prices.
