Altaley Mining Corporation (TSE:LUCA) has released an update.
Luca Mining Corp has announced the successful completion of metallurgical test work at Campo Morado, aimed at separating copper-lead in its concentrates, which may potentially yield higher value copper, zinc, and lead concentrates. The testing, which indicated copper recoveries up to 93% and copper grades of 28%, compared to the current 15-18%, has paved the way for re-configuring the existing plant to enhance cash flow. Optimized gold and silver grades in the copper concentrate have also been noted, with implementation of the new process expected in the second half of 2024.
