Fitch Ratings has downgraded the Lippo Malls Indonesia Retail Trust’s (LMIR Trust) Long Term Issuer Default Rating to ‘C’ from ‘CCC’, as well as the ratings on its 2026 senior unsecured notes, due to a tender offer that Fitch considers a distressed debt exchange. Despite the downgrade, LMIR Trust asserts it remains in compliance with its financial covenants.
