Littelfuse Reports 2024 Financial Performance

In its latest earnings report, Littelfuse revealed its performance for the fourth quarter and full year of 2024. Despite challenging market conditions, the company’s results were in line with prior guidance, showcasing strong operational execution and a commitment to profitability.

For the fourth quarter of 2024, Littelfuse reported net sales of $530 million, a slight decline of 1% compared to the previous year, while the adjusted diluted EPS was $2.04. The company faced a GAAP diluted loss per share of $1.57 due to $93 million in non-cash goodwill and intangible impairment charges. For the full year, net sales were $2.2 billion, down 7% from the previous year, with an adjusted diluted EPS of $8.48. The company generated $368 million in cash flow from operations and $292 million in free cash flow.

Littelfuse’s strategic focus on profitability led to notable margin expansion in the latter half of the year. Despite a decrease in net sales, particularly in the Electronics segment, improvements were observed in the Transportation and Industrial sectors, with the latter experiencing an 11.5% increase in net sales for the fourth quarter.

Looking ahead, Littelfuse is positioned for solid earnings expansion in 2025, supported by continued design win momentum, meaningful content opportunities, and operational enhancements. The company expects first-quarter 2025 net sales to range between $520 million and $550 million with an adjusted diluted EPS of $1.70 to $1.90.
