Legal & General (GB:LGEN) has released an update.
On 2nd July 2024, Legal & General Group Plc purchased 700,000 of its own ordinary shares, which will be cancelled, as part of a share buyback program initiated on 12 June 2024. This move will reduce the total number of ordinary shares in issue to 5,968,521,205, with no shares held in treasury, thus maintaining the total voting rights at the same count. The detailed transaction information, including the highest, lowest, and average prices paid per share across various exchanges, has been disclosed by the Company.
