Legal & General (GB:LGEN) has released an update.
Legal & General Group Plc has announced the buyback of 700,000 of its own ordinary shares on July 16, 2024, which will be subsequently cancelled. The shares were purchased through Barclays Capital Securities Limited at prices ranging from 229.90 to 232.10 pence per share. This buyback is a part of the company’s previously announced program and post-cancellation, the company will have 5,959,911,199 shares in issue with the same number of voting rights, as it holds no shares in treasury.
