Legal & General Group Plc announces the buyback of 1,000,000 of its own shares on June 28, 2024, which were purchased through various exchanges at prices ranging from 226.80 to 230.30 pence per share. The shares acquired will be cancelled as part of a previously announced share buyback program, reducing the total number of shares in issue to 5,970,123,916 with an equal number of voting rights. This move is part of the company’s strategy to manage its capital effectively.
