Legal & General Group Plc has announced the buyback of 5 million of its own shares on September 3, 2024, at prices ranging from 222.10 to 226.40 pence per share. The repurchased shares are to be cancelled as part of a share buyback program initiated on June 12, 2024, which will reduce the total number of shares in issue to approximately 5.92 billion. This move reflects the company’s ongoing strategy to manage its share capital effectively.
