Lassonde Industries Inc. has expanded its North American specialty food business by acquiring Summer Garden Food Manufacturing, a producer of premium sauces and condiments with a strong market presence. The deal, valued at $237.2 million with additional contingent payments, aims to create a new growth platform for Lassonde and enhance its product offerings in pasta sauces and other categories.
