Lai Sun Garment (International) Limited and its subsidiaries have issued financial updates, warning of a larger consolidated loss for eSun Holdings Limited, estimated at no more than HK$520 million for the year, due to asset impairment. In contrast, Lai Fung Holdings Limited expects to report a significantly reduced loss, down by at least 50% from the previous year, thanks to fair value gains on investment properties and reduced operating expenses. Shareholders and potential investors are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the companies’ securities.
