Kyowa Kirin Advances Share Buyback Program

Kyowa Kirin Co (JP:4151) has released an update.

Kyowa Kirin Co., Ltd. has been actively purchasing its own shares, buying back 1,205,700 shares for a total cost of 3.68 billion yen in July 2024. This move is part of a larger share repurchase plan authorized by the company’s Board of Directors to acquire up to 17 million shares, representing 3.2% of the total issued shares, for as much as 40 billion yen by the end of October 2024.
