Kongsberg Clinches Billion Kroner Australian Missile Deal

Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (NSKFF) has released an update.

Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace has secured a deal with Australia for supplying the Joint Strike Missile for the F-35A jets, a contract valued at around 1 billion Norwegian kroner. The JSM will enhance the F-35A’s long-range precision strike capabilities on both land and sea targets. This deal not only expands the JSM’s presence in the Pacific but also promotes local Australian production through a new KONGSBERG missile factory in Newcastle.
