Kodiak Copper Corp. has announced the discovery of a new copper porphyry at the 1516 Zone within its MPD copper-gold porphyry project in southern British Columbia. This discovery follows their previous find at the Gate Zone, suggesting a larger porphyry system with significant mineralization, including copper, gold, and molybdenum. The company’s successful 2023 drilling campaign has revealed multiple kilometer-scale mineralized centers and plans for continued exploration are underway, bolstered by the use of AI technology.
