Kingfisher Mining Ltd has initiated drilling operations at the Mick Well site as part of a government-supported Exploration Incentive Scheme, targeting carbonatite pipe formations that could host significant rare earth mineralization. Concurrently, the company is re-evaluating base metal prospects, including copper, with historical data indicating potential high-grade mineralization. With diamond drilling expected to start in early August, the project has already garnered positive attention due to promising rare earth element (REE) strike lengths and high-grade copper results from preliminary assessments.
