Kimberly Clark Embarks on Cost-Cutting Global Transformation

An announcement from Kimberly Clark (KMB) is now available.

Kimberly-Clark Corporation has launched a strategic global transformation initiative aimed at fostering growth and slashing costs through segment reorganization, more efficient overhead structures, and supply chain optimization. The plan, which kicked off in early 2024, is expected to be fully implemented by the end of 2026, incurring an estimated $1.5 billion in pre-tax charges, with about half in cash costs mainly due to workforce reductions, and the remainder in non-cash charges. The company also anticipates a further $800 million in capital expenditure related to these changes. However, these projections are based on current assumptions and may be subject to change due to unforeseen factors.
