Keppel Infrastructure (SG:A7RU) has released an update.
Keppel Infrastructure Trust’s subsidiary, Keppel Merlimau Cogen Pte Ltd, has secured a sustainability-linked loan to refinance its existing S$700 million debt ahead of the due date in 2027. The innovative loan incentivizes energy-efficient production and carbon-efficient performance, aligning with the company’s sustainability commitments. Additionally, a stipulation of the loan mandates that Keppel Infrastructure Fund Management must remain the trustee-manager, or similar conditions must be met, to avoid triggering a substantial prepayment scenario.
