Kenon Subsidiary Secures $52M Solar Project Investment

Kenon Holdings Ltd. (KEN) has released an update.

Kenon Holdings Ltd., through its subsidiary OPC Energy Ltd., has secured a $52 million tax equity investment deal for its Stagecoach solar project in Georgia, U.S., from a tax equity partner. The project, which is already operational, will provide the investor with substantial tax benefits and a share in the project’s cash flow and taxable income. The terms also allow the partner to reduce their involvement after 9.5 years, with CPV having the option to buy back their share.
