Karoon Energy Accelerates Post-Maintenance Production

Karoon Energy Ltd (AU:KAR) has released an update.

Karoon Energy Ltd has successfully recommenced production at its Baúna Project with output peaking at over 31,000 barrels per day and is expected to stabilize at 25,000 barrels daily. Meanwhile, the company’s Who Dat production is robust, averaging over 40,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day, and the Who Dat East well is being suspended for future use after reaching a total depth of 7,670 meters with 45 meters of net pay. Despite a potential delay due to industrial action at Brazil’s environmental agency, the company remains on track with its SPS-88 well intervention and maintains its production guidance for the Baúna Project at 7.5 – 9.0 million barrels of oil for 2024.
