JetBlue Airways Announces Executive Leadership Transition

JetBlue Airways (JBLU) has shared an announcement.

JetBlue has announced a significant change in its leadership team as Brandon Nelson, who has been with the company since 2005 and served as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary since 2018, will be stepping down on August 5, 2024. He will be succeeded by Eileen McCarthy, a seasoned JetBlue executive. Until his official departure following an advisory period, Nelson will continue to receive his base salary and benefits, along with a severance package that includes a year’s salary continuation and a prorated annual bonus.
