Ivanhoe Mines’ Kamoa-Kakula Now Third-Largest Copper Producer

Ivanhoe Mines (TSE:IVN) has released an update.

Ivanhoe Mines has announced that its Phase 3 concentrator at the Kamoa-Kakula Copper Complex in the DRC is now commercially operational, marking a significant production milestone. The complex produced a record 35,941 tonnes of copper in July, and the new phase ramps up the annual production capacity to over 600,000 tonnes, positioning Kamoa-Kakula as the third-largest copper mining operation worldwide.
