Ivanhoe Mines (TSE:IVN) has released an update.
Ivanhoe Mines has announced the early production of first concentrate from its Kamoa-Kakula Phase 3 concentrator in the DRC, with operations starting several months ahead of schedule. This new phase is set to significantly enhance the mine’s output, pushing annual copper production over 600,000 tonnes. The accomplishment follows a near-record copper production in May, leveraged by additional imported power.
