ITV plc (GB:ITV) has released an update.
ITV plc has actively bought back 175,943 of its own ordinary shares for prices ranging between 79.35 and 80.25 pence per share, with the aggregate purchase since the beginning of its share buyback program reaching 72,335,680 shares at an average price of 73.51 pence. Following the transaction, ITV holds over 63 million shares in treasury, affecting the total number of voting rights available to shareholders. The company’s share buyback initiative follows the authorization from its Annual General Meeting and intends to enhance shareholder value.
