Ithaca Energy PLC has announced the appointment of Yaniv Friedman as the new Executive Chairman, succeeding Dave Blackwood, CBE, who will resume his non-executive director position. Friedman brings extensive experience from the energy sector, including roles as CEO of Modiin Energy and Deputy CEO of Newmed Energy. This leadership change aims to bolster Ithaca Energy’s executive team as the company enters a new growth phase, integrating upstream assets from Eni in the UK.
