Alexander Ovtchinnikov, Senior VP and CTO of IPG Photonics Corporation, is set to retire on September 15, 2024, but will continue to offer his expertise as a consultant until March 2025 for a monthly fee of $17,000. His equity awards will keep vesting during this period, and the company will cover his health insurance premiums for 18 months post-retirement. This move ensures that the company retains Ovtchinnikov’s valuable experience even after his retirement.
