IPC Advances Share Buyback Plan, Cancels Shares

International Petroleum Corporation (TSE:IPCO) has released an update.

International Petroleum Corporation (IPC) has recently completed the repurchase of 173,300 of its common shares as part of its ongoing normal course issuer bid, which was first announced in December 2023. The shares were bought back through the facilities of the TSX and Nasdaq Stockholm, with the intention of cancelling them to optimize shareholder value. Since the program’s inception, IPC has repurchased a total of 3,916,805 shares, with the potential to buy back up to 8,342,119 shares within a 12-month period.
