Invinity Opens New Factory, Boosts Energy Storage

Invinity Energy Systems (GB:IES) has released an update.

Invinity Energy Systems has officially opened a new manufacturing facility in Motherwell, Scotland, which is set to increase the company’s UK assembly capacity to over 500 MWh per year and create more than 40 jobs. The event also featured a Capital Markets Day, showcasing the company’s progress, including the live demonstration of its vanadium flow batteries and a preview of the next-generation product ‘Mistral.’ Backed by investments from the UK Infrastructure Bank and support for long-duration energy storage from the UK Government, Invinity is positioned to meet the growing demand for its energy storage solutions and support the country’s transition to net zero.
