Interoil Reports Production Drop Due to Weather and Operational Issues

InterOil Exploration and Production ASA (DE:1ZD0) has released an update.

Interoil Exploration and Production ASA reported a decrease in daily average operated production to 1,348 barrels of oil equivalents per day (boepd) in July 2024, down by 215 boepd from June. Production in Argentina was significantly affected by the worst snow and windstorm in 60 years, leading to reduced operations and postponed field works. The company is also addressing a downhole failure in Colombia’s Vikingo-1 well and is planning to commence recovery operations later in the month.
