Intermap Technologies has announced a strategic partnership with Aon’s Impact Forecasting to improve insurance underwriting, risk management, and portfolio modeling through enhanced hazard and risk maps. The collaboration aims to respond to the escalating challenges posed by natural disasters, particularly floods, which have driven insured losses above $100 billion annually. Intermap’s Aquarius RMA solution will now include Aon’s Flood and Earthquake Hazard Datasets, signifying a growth in the company’s commercial risk business and addressing the insurance industry’s adaptation to climate change.
