InterContinental Hotels (GB:IHG) has released an update.
InterContinental Hotels Group PLC has repurchased 20,000 of its own shares on July 16, 2024, with prices ranging from £83.56 to £85.40 per share, averaging £84.5618 each. The company, following this transaction, plans to cancel the acquired shares, which will leave it with 161,313,920 ordinary shares in issue, excluding those held in treasury. This move is part of a share buyback program authorized by shareholders during the Annual General Meeting earlier in May.
