Jan De Witte plans to retire from his role as President and CEO of Integra LifeSciences, but will remain in his current position until a successor is appointed to ensure a smooth leadership transition. He has entered into a consulting agreement to advise the new CEO post-retirement. Meanwhile, Stuart M. Essig has been named Executive Chairman. De Witte’s retirement is due to personal reasons and not because of any disagreement with the company’s operations or policies.
