Infratil Limited (IFUUF) has released an update.
Infratil Limited has reported a significant A$287 million increase in the valuation of its 48.17% investment in CDC as of September 30, 2024, with the investment now valued between A$4,386 million and A$5,248 million. This uptick is attributed to strong customer interest and expansion in CDC’s development activities, particularly in Melbourne and Auckland, leading to a forecasted increase in build capacity by 409MW by FY2034. Despite rising asset-specific risk premiums contributing to a higher cost of equity, CDC plans to leverage various debt markets for the funding required for its growing development pipeline.
