Imperial Oil has announced the appointment of Cheryl Gomez-Smith as its new Senior Vice President, Upstream, starting May 1, 2024. She will be succeeding Simon Younger, who will transition to a new role within ExxonMobil in Australia. The company praised Younger’s leadership for advancing Imperial’s upstream growth and is confident in Gomez-Smith’s global experience to further enhance operational performance and cost efficiency.
