Iberdrola (ES:IBE) has released an update.
Iberdrola S.A. has completed a reduction of share capital through the amortization of 183,299,000 of its own shares, reducing the share capital by 137,474,250.00 euros to a new total of 4,680,000,000.00 euros. This move aims to enhance shareholder remuneration and has been executed with a charge to freely available reserves, without the right of opposition from creditors. Additionally, Iberdrola plans to delist the amortized shares from the Spanish Stock Exchanges.
