IAMGOLD (TSE:IMG) has released an update.
IAMGOLD Corporation has announced the commencement of commercial production at their Côté Gold Mine in Ontario, Canada, marking a significant milestone for what is set to be one of the country’s largest gold mines. The mine, operated in partnership with Sumitomo Metal Mining Co., Ltd., has successfully ramped up operations to reach 60% of its 36,000 tons per day capacity. With a recent equity financing completed, IAMGOLD aims to increase ownership and further boost throughput by the year’s end.
