i3 Energy Plc has announced a final agreement for a cash and share acquisition by Gran Tierra Energy Inc., to be executed via a court-sanctioned scheme of arrangement. The deal’s terms are outlined in a Scheme Document now accessible to shareholders, with key meetings scheduled for October 7, 2024, to seek approval. The directors of i3 Energy unanimously recommend the acquisition, which is expected to conclude in the fourth quarter of 2024, leading to the delisting of i3 Energy shares from public trading.
