Huaneng Power International, Inc. has announced a final ordinary dividend of RMB 0.2 per share for the financial year ending 31 December 2023, with an exchange rate set at RMB 1 to HKD 1.10209. Shareholders will receive the dividend in HKD at a rate of 0.22042 per share, with payment scheduled for 30 August 2024. The company also outlined withholding tax rates for different categories of shareholders, with non-resident individuals taxed at either 10% or 20%, and non-resident enterprises at 10%, depending on the shareholder’s country of residence and applicable tax treaties with China.
