Huaneng Power International, Inc. has successfully issued the fifth tranche of its super short-term debentures, raising RMB 2 billion with a 58-day maturity at an interest rate of 1.73%. This issuance, part of a RMB 30 billion mandate approved at the 2022 annual general meeting, aims to enhance the company’s working capital, optimize debt structure, and repay loans. The debentures were underwritten by China Bohai Bank Co., Ltd. and placed among banks in the domestic bond market.
