Huadian Power Faces Decline in 2024 Energy Output

Huadian Power International (HK:1071) has released an update.

Huadian Power International reported a 2.46% decline in both power generation and on-grid electricity sales for the first three quarters of 2024, mainly due to increased hydropower output affecting its coal-fired units. The average on-grid electricity tariff also dropped by 1.46% compared to the previous year. This performance may impact investor sentiment as the company navigates a changing energy landscape.
