HSBC Executes Multi-Million Dollar Share Buy-Back

HSBC Holdings plc (HSBC) has released an update.

HSBC Holdings plc has recently bought back and canceled millions of its shares, with a total expenditure of approximately $236.7 million since the announcement of the buy-back on May 7, 2024. The repurchases took place in the UK and Hong Kong, with the post-cancellation share capital standing at 18,815,146,916 ordinary shares. This move is part of the company’s effort to return value to shareholders and will affect the denominator for shareholder notifications.
