HSBC Completes Multi-Million Share Buy-Back

HSBC Holdings plc (HSBC) has released an update.

HSBC Holdings plc has recently bought back and canceled over 3.3 million of its own shares at a cost of approximately $319.6 million, as part of a share repurchase program announced earlier in the month. The transaction, conducted through Morgan Stanley, will result in the company’s total issued share capital being reduced to 18,808,951,599 shares. This strategic move is aimed at optimizing the company’s capital structure and providing shareholder value.
